Submissions

We are currently accepting submissions of completed manuscripts.

 

To fully evaluate your work for possible publication, we must review your completed manuscript to determine the quality of your work, your professional writing experience, your marketing plans, and your ability to collaborate with our team.

 

Before you fill out the form below with your submission details, please read this four-step listing of the process:

1) Study our two publishing models: Hybrid and Self-publishing.

• Hybrid deals are for promising emerging writers and established writers who are still finding their audience. This is not self-publishing; the investment is shared between The International Writers and the author.

• We also offer our publishing services (editing/proofreading/design) to help authors self-publish their books, but all the publishing costs are covered by the author. 

• Be clear and realistic about your hopes and expectations.

2) Prepare your manuscript

• Save your manuscript as one Microsoft Word file of the entire book, not separate chapters. We will also accept a PDF file.

• We prefer manuscripts with a range of 20,000 – 90,000 words, though we will consider longer manuscripts of quality.

3) Fill out the submission form below and attach your manuscript:

• You must be eighteen years of age or older

• We do not accept previously published work

• We only review completed manuscripts, not chapters or proposals​

4) Submission Response

• If your submission is accepted for our consideration based on quality, one of our acquisitions editors will be in touch via email to set up a call, typically within 1-3 weeks or sooner. Please respond quickly to confirm your interest, or to let us know you have moved on. We hear from numerous authors and strive to keep our submissions list current.

• If we do not accept your manuscript for consideration, we will let you know in a timely fashion.

• Regardless of the outcome, we wish you the very best of luck and thank you for submitting.
